Embracing the Process in Lenten Days✨

Lent is a time to slow down, reflect, and grow. Change does not happen overnight. Just like a seed takes time to become a tree, we also need time to become better.

Lent is not just about giving up things like sweets, non veg, flowers or social media. It is about making space for kindness, patience, and faith. We can let go of anger and choose peace, or let go of doubt and choose trust. Silence is also important. In our busy lives, we rarely stop to think. Taking a few quiet moments each day can bring peace. Even Jesus spent time alone in the desert to prepare for His journey.

Some days, we may forget to pray or struggle to keep our Lenten promises. That is okay. Lent is not about being perfect. It is about trying, learning, and trusting that we are growing. As we walk through this season, let us be patient with ourselves. Every small effort counts. Even when we do not see change, God is working in us. Lent is a journey—one step, one prayer, one day at a time.

One of the most important lessons of Lent is letting go. This does not always mean giving up food or activities. Sometimes, it means letting go of negative thoughts, bad habits, or the need to be in control.

Let go of doubt, and make room for faith,
Let go of anger, and make room for peace,
Let go of fear, and make room for trust,
Let go of complaining, and make room for gratitude.

It is not easy to let go of things that have been part of us for a long time. But Lent reminds us that we are not alone in this journey.Lent is not about making ourselves suffer. It is about opening our hearts, taking small steps, and trusting that we are being shaped into something beautiful.
