FINDING MAGIC IN LIFE'S SIMPLE THINGS ✨🌷

Today, I attended a wedding and noticed a bunch of white flowers beautifully arranged at the venue. It instantly brought back memories of my childhood. Back then, flowers and balloons weren’t just decorations; they were treasures waiting to be claimed.

As kids, attending weddings and functions was never about the ceremonies. It was about fun, laughter, and those little fights over who could collect the most flowers or grab the biggest balloon. I remember how we used to run around, snatching flowers, sometimes even pulling them straight from the arrangements. It was a competition, and winning felt like the biggest achievement in the world.
I smiled as I thought about how serious we were about it back then. It wasn’t just about having flowers or balloons; it was about the joy of chasing them, the playful arguments, and the sense of victory when you had more than anyone else. Those little things were enough to keep us excited for hours.

But standing there today, looking at those same flowers, I felt a little sad. Nobody cared about them anymore, not even me. We’ve all grown up, and the excitement we once had for such small things seems to have faded. I realized how different life feels now. When we were kids, happiness came from the little things because they were rare and special. A balloon felt like magic, and a flower in hand felt like winning. But as we grew older, we started getting everything we wanted, whenever we wanted it. And somewhere along the way, we stopped feeling that pure excitement.

It’s not just about growing up—it’s about how life has changed. Back then, the world outside was full of surprises. Now, most of us are stuck scrolling on our phones, looking for something exciting online. We’ve forgotten how to find joy in the real world around us. Seeing those flowers reminded me of how simple life used to be. We didn’t need much to be happy—a balloon, a flower, or even just laughing with cousins was enough. I think we can bring some of that back into our lives. Maybe it’s about paying attention to the small things again, like watching a sunset, enjoying a conversation, or just appreciating the moment we’re in.

Life doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, the little joys we overlook are the ones that make life beautiful. And maybe it’s time we let ourselves feel that happiness again—just like we did as kids.
